When a man completely casts off all material desires and is no more driven by the desiring mind, introspects and integrates with universal consciousness, then such wisdom is said to be the steady wisdom.
Thus, having no desires but enacting worldly duties with the feeling of oneness with others, understanding why they behave differently and thus, exercising infinite patience for all errors, such person is perfectly satisfied and is said to have stable wisdom.
Neither unperturbed in grief nor too excited in moments of joy, free from desires of pleasures, fear and anger; such an ultra-patient man is called ‘Sthit Dheer’ as said by Munis (the thinkers).
Such a person is free from all kinds of attachment everywhere, every time and indifferent to achievements, equable in good and bad, neither praises too much nor hates; his intellect is firmed and seated rightly.
