Drop of Water or Milk atom Shivalinga: The water pot represents that source, the ‘Para; and as it bursts on stone represents the genesis of Big bang. Water drop, and it spurts indicates the genesis of universe from point source.

Different phases of creation shown as Shivalinga ‘Valayas’ i.e. horizontal & parallel lines on linga. Eruption and inflation, followed by creation of quantum particles and sub-particles and plasma, come into existence.

Shiva-lingam is an iconological symbol for process of creation. It strikingly matches to the Big Bang hypothesis of creation of universe. Linga Puran clearly states Shivalinga is the creation of universe. Note that several models of Big bang images remarkably resemble the Shivalingam:

Shivalinga usually is Black oval stone with flat base accompanied with a pot on top, from where water drips on Shivalinga, and splits into micro-drops, while a part flows down surrounding the stone’s smooth surface. The water pot represents the immaterial and metaphysical source, the ‘Para; and as it bursts on the stone, the phenomenon represents the genesis of Big-Bang. Think why such a phenomenon and Shivalinga was ascribed to creation of  universe. Let’s see what science says about it.

With a sudden eruption, immaterial source gave birth to energized sub-atomic particles called Plazma, accompanied by inflation In symbolic analogy, Origin of universe is indicated by burst of water drops as they fall on Shivalinga and expands.
